Clean Energy Partnerships Specialist
Responsibilities
- Aid in the creation, execution, and optimization of marketing strategies that align with NYPA's business objectives and brand identity
- Monitor and update lead engagement and outreach performance across various marketing campaigns and events, ensuring accurate data and updated lead statuses
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Evaluate outreach performance and suggest data-driven improvements through quantitative analytics and CRM insights
- Maintain, refine, and analyze Customer Relationship Management (CRM) workflows, ensuring high-quality data management, segmentation logic, and performance dashboards
- Create clear external-facing materials such as capability briefs, fact sheets, opportunity assessments, and presentations that communicate complex energy concepts
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint
- Strong background in marketing, business development fundamentals, and experience applying these principles in a technical or energy-sector context
- Familiarity with clean energy technologies (nuclear, renewables, storage) and policy drivers shaping New York's clean energy markets
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and data analytics with the ability to build and interpret performance dashboards and segmentation logic
- Ability to synthesize technical information and communicate in clear, concise formats to external audiences
- Strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and comfort working with quantitative data, energy metrics, and market analyses
Education, Experience and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a relevant field
- Minimum 4 years' experience working preferred
- CRM experience strongly preferred
- Experience with marketing, technical communications, business development, or related energy-sector work preferred
- Experience with renewable energy, public-power environment, or tech start-ups strongly preferred

- Approximate travel: 25%
Pay
The estimated salary range for this position is: $106,000 - $146,300. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
