About the role

The Office Lead serves as the administrative hub for the Home Center, supporting sales, marketing, human resources, and operations while ensuring smooth communication and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support
    • Assemble, update, and maintain customer files for Home Center processes and compliance, adhering to record policies.
    • Assist Home Center team members in collaborating with Home Office liaisons on sales, marketing, human resource, and other business processes.
    • Prepare sales packages, complete parts orders, process billback requests for manufacturer payments on covered items, and schedule service through contractors.
  • Communication Liaison
    • Prepare letters, flyers for Home Center promotions, copies, business card requests, and other correspondence as requested by the Home Center Manager.
    • Serve as a point of contact between departments or individuals, relaying messages and ensuring effective communication.
    • Interact with clients, visitors, and employees to provide assistance and ensure a positive experience.
  • Office Organization and Management
    • Assist customers with general questions, route phone calls and messages accurately and quickly.
    • Support office compliance and internal audit preparation.
    • Assist the Home Center Manager with collecting invoices, scheduling contractor payments, and making bank deposits.
    • Operate and perform tasks in Vantage, including Vantage tasks, SES Pro, and My Home Service.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express.
  • Able to multi-task and adapt to changes with ease.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Able to comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Cooperative and collaborative; willing to assist with miscellaneous duties as required.
  • 1-3 years of tenure and/or related experience.
  • Able to complete tasks and role requirements independently.
  • Able to operate in a sedentary environment; independently use a computer, phone, copier, and other office machinery; occasionally move furniture/decor and complete light cleaning.
