About the role

This position is responsible for the professional instruction designed to provide academic, social, physical, and skills development for students in specific grades or subject areas. The goal is to prepare students to be successful citizens and workers in the 21st century.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Endorsement in the grade or subject taught
• Valid Tennessee teaching certificate
• Highly qualified status
• Proof of education, training, and/or experience
• Physically and mentally able to perform the responsibilities and duties of the position

Degree Equivalency Formula

• Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years plus required years of experience
• Master’s Degree = 6 years plus required years of experience
