Classroom Practice Facilitator
About the role
PHMC serves as both a direct service provider to individuals, families, and communities across the region and an intermediary agent—managing large-scale contracts, government and philanthropic partnerships, and multidisciplinary initiatives that require operational sophistication, strategic leadership, and deep mission alignment. Job Overview: The Classroom Practices Facilitator is a critical consultative position within the Curriculum Fund (CF) Initiative. The Facilitator provides a Community of Practice (COP) for early learning teachers within the Initiative, along with individualised on-site training and technical assistance on approved curriculum and assessment. The Classroom Practices Facilitator assists the ECE Quality Initiatives Director throughout the grantee selection process and awardee monitoring, including collection of provider data and logistical planning of facilitated COP meetings. He/she works in collaboration with Centre Directors, teaching staff and other education staff to determine focus areas of technical assistance based on data analysis from CLASS assessments, COP feedback, and ongoing observations or emergent curricula implementation challenges. The Classroom Practices Facilitator is under the supervision of the ECE QI Director.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain current knowledge of Curriculum Fund (CF) project and Child Development and Family Service programs to assist providers in clarifying continuity of supports.
- Assist in promotion of the CF grant application window through networking at local provider meetings within PHMC stakeholder network.
