Classroom Aide - 1:1
LifeWorks School System, with locations in Doylestown, Levittown, and Media, PA, is hiring One-to-One Staff for the 2026-2027 academic school year. LifeWorks Schools are licensed specialty therapeutic day schools for middle and high school students affected by social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges. Our comprehensive educational curriculum is individualized to actively engage each student throughout the day, aiming to achieve positive, pro-social behavioral and educational outcomes.
About the Role
A One-to-One Staff member assists with classroom instruction in a one-on-one setting, helping students understand subject matter and ensuring regular classroom routines are followed.
Responsibilities
- Work with students who have special needs and/or challenging behaviors.
- Support instruction for individuals.
- Monitor and manage student behaviors.
- Model and encourage positive social skills as needed.
- Support students through classroom transitions.
- Perform other duties as directed by school administration.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in educational settings.
