Classification Management Officer 2

Responsibilities

• Provides advice and assistance to the Government regarding classification management.
• Performs detailed analysis and quick issue resolution and identifies and assesses sources for classification determinations.
• Generates, tracks, coordinates, and responds to action items in a timely manner.
• Effectively briefs audiences on security matters related to classification management.
• Shares knowledge of classification, control marking, and dissemination principles.
• Writes and researches protection guidance products for customer programs and assets.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and 8+ years of relevant experience or Associates and 6 + years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or Masters and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SCI arena.
• Thorough understanding of IC and DoD regulatory guidance.
• Excellent writing and research skills.
• Previous experience providing protection guidance to federal customers is preferred.
• Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Must be able to be in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
• Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer, scanner, facsimile.
