Classification Management Officer 2

About the role

Seeking a motivated Classification Management Officer 2 (CMO 2) to provide expert guidance on classification management in accordance with National Security standards and ICD 710.

Responsibilities

• Offering advice and assistance to the government on classification management issues.
• Performing detailed analysis, quick issue resolution, and assessing sources for classification determinations.
• Researching, analyzing, and producing guidance documents related to protection of programs and assets.
• Effectively briefing audiences on security topics related to classification.
• Applying knowledge of classification, control markings, and dissemination principles.
• Tracking, coordinating, and responding to action items in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 8+ years, or associate's with 6+ years, or bachelor's with 5+ years, or master's with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of SCI environment and IC/DoD regulations.
• Excellent research and writing abilities.
• Experience providing protection guidance to federal clients is highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.

Security clearance

Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Physical requirements

• Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
• Effective communication with peers and senior personnel.
• Proficiency in operating computers and office equipment.
