About the role
The Hematology and Medical Oncology Department of the Cancer Institute is seeking Hematology and Medical Oncology applicants at the Assistant Professor level or higher interested in Classical Hematology at our downtown campus. This program has a well-established track record in outstanding patient care, clinical trials, and translational research.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care
- Collaborate in research
- Teach fellows and residents
- Leverage leadership opportunities, including Associate Program Director for the CCF Hematology/Oncology Fellowship and Research Director for Classical Hematology
- Participate in adult sickle cell disease care
Requirements
- Board certified or eligible in Medical Oncology or Hematology
- Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Ohio
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to clinical and/or translational research
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues in the rapidly growing research program
- Experience in patient care and teaching
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
- Minimum salary: $350,000
- Maximum salary: $450,000
