Class C Bobtail Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Follow assigned routes for efficient delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Auxiliary in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods.
• Perform heavy lifting as required when loading or unloading cargo.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a courier or truck driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including potential overtime as needed.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in route planning and delivery documentation.
