Bobtail Driver

Drivers are housed out of Victorville and Coachella Bulk Plants. They are responsible for the safe and efficient movement of products (both fuels and lubricants). DUTIES: The following duties are not intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties performed, only a representative summary of the primary duties and responsibilities. Incumbent may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional, position specific duties. Diligent completion of daily DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) prior to loading any products onto vehicleSafe loading of product(s) from Bulk Plant based on customer orders for that dayManage the vehicle and movement of products with strict adherence to company driving policyOff-load bulk and packaged petroleum products using truck pumping systemsFill in delivery tickets, calculating delivered amounts. Fill in cargo manifests, loading forms and other documents as neededTake all necessary precautions to prevent product spills or mixing of products (trans-mix)Report any spills, trans-mix situations, moving violations or accidents to dispatch as they occur. Participate in Driver meetings as required. Offer advice to make improvements in any/all operational areas Requirements Skills and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 1-year Commercial driving experience, Class BMust have Hazmat and Tanker endorsementPetroleum Tanker experience is not requiredMust have a clean DMV record with no more than two moving violations within the last five yearsMust have no more than one at fault traffic collision within the last 5 yearsMust possess a current Department of Transportation medical certificationMust be willing to work any shift available including nights, weekends, holidays Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance401K PlanPaid Time Off
