Class B CDL Route Driver

About the role

LeMay Centralia, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a reliable and motivated Class B CDL Driver to join our team in Centralia, WA. Previous waste industry experience is a big plus—but not required. We’re happy to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a garbage truck on designated routes to collect solid waste.
• Read route sheets and service each customer listed or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Perform a physically demanding job, including loading and unloading, sometimes without assistance.
• Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift and load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement
• Clean driving record (please bring a copy of your MVR to the in-person interview)
• Ability to operate 10-, 13-, and 18-speed transmissions (preferred, not required)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay

Starting pay $27-29/hr (DOE) with annual pay increases and bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 5 a.m.- 2:30 pm, with overtime available.
