Class B CDL Driver STRAIGHT TRUCK DRIVER- TEC - Elgin, IL.

CXI Trucking is growing and we have an immediate need for a dedicated Class B CDL Driver in Elgin, IL for a dedicated account. Start time is 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with the same start and finish location in Elgin, IL.

Schedule

• Day shift
• Home every night and every weekend
• Start time: 6:00 AM
• Overtime pay after 40 hours

Pay

$26.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle safely at all times
• Comply with pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Verify loads and equipment are secured prior to transportation
• Operational knowledge of a pallet jack, two-wheel hand truck, and lift-gate to assist in pick-up and delivery (P & D) operation
• Ability to lift 75 lbs safely
• Ability to effectively read maps or utilize a GPS unit
• Communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner

Requirements

• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Must have 2 years of experience driving Class B straight truck
• Efficient with residential deliveries and lift-gate
• No more than 1 at-fault (preventable) accident in the last year
• Clean MVR is a plus
• Valid Class B CDL license
• Medical card
