About the role

CXI Trucking, located in Melrose Park, IL, is seeking a Class B CDL Straight Truck driver for a Full-Time position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience driving a CLASS B STRAIGHT TRUCK, be at least 23 years old, and have a clean MVR. Applicants must also have no more than one at-fault accident in the past year.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle safely at all times
• Comply with pre-trip and post trip inspections
• Label, sign, and handle shipments according to CXI Trucking procedures
• Verify loads and equipment are secured prior to transportation
• Show operational knowledge of a pallet jack, two-wheel hand truck, and lift-gate to assist in P & D operations
• Able to lift 75 lbs safely
• Communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner

Requirements

• Driver must be at least 23 years of age
• Must have 2 years of experience driving CLASS B STRAIGHT TRUCK
• No more than 1 at-fault (preventable) accident in the last year
• Clean MVR is a plus
• Valid CLASS B DRIVERS LICENSE

Qualifications

Must have a valid CLASS B DRIVERS LICENSE and a MEDICAL CARD.
