Class B CDL Delivery Driver

American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") has an immediate opportunity in Harrison, OH.

Responsibilities

• Use company vehicle to deliver products and equipment to customers in a safe and courte manner.
• Pick up returns at customer place of business.
• Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Comply with all DOT + OSHA Regulations.
• Move, load, and unload empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Ensure appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements.
• Clean commercial driving record with 3+ years of experience.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.).
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and company administered road test.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers.
