Class B CDL Delivery Driver

Coastal Welding Supply, an AWG Company, is seeking a Class B CDL Delivery Driver for our Baytown, TX location.

About the role

This position involves loading, unloading, moving, and storing gas and liquid cylinders and other hard goods. You will make deliveries to customers or other branches, complete delivery tickets accurately, and ensure compliance with all DOT and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and store gas and liquid cylinders and other supplies
• Make deliveries to customers or other branches
• Complete delivery tickets accurately and thoroughly
• Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Comply with all DOT and OSHA regulations
• Safely move, load, and unload empty and full cylinders
• Prepare and complete paperwork, including shipping papers and delivery tickets
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Class B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain both)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, background assessment, and company-administered road test
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers
