Class A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Hauling of asphalt, millings, and other materials
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations
• Inspect loads to ensure materials are secure
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report defects, accidents, or violations immediately
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Auxiliary tasks such as assisting crews and maintaining vehicle cleanliness

Requirements

• Two years verifiable CDL driving experience
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License and Medical Certification Card
• M.V.R. with no recent moving or driving violations
• Pass drug screen
• Successfully pass Road Test and Physical Qualification and Examinations in accordance with DOT requirements
• Proven work experience as a truck driver
• Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Use of defensive driving techniques
• Ability to operate both a manual and automatic transmission

Qualifications

• Heavy Truck Driving experience
• Construction Experience
• TWIC Card
