Class A Linehaul Driver

Role Overview

We are seeking a Class A Linehaul Driver to operate commercial vehicles safely during overnight hours, primarily on a route between terminals or relay points, with occasional customer deliveries or pickups.

Qualifications & Skills

• At least two years (or equivalent training) of interstate driving experience
• A valid driver’s license
• Pass a company driving test
• Endorsements for hazardous materials/tank may be required within 90 days
• A clean driving record, including no recent license suspensions, violations, or at-fault accidents, is essential
• Compliance with DOT physicals, drug tests, and background checks is mandatory
• Demonstrate dependability, a positive attitude, and a commitment to safety
• Use of driver-facing event recorders and registration with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse are required

Key Duties

• Operate tractor/trailer in compliance with regulations and safety policies
• Inspect vehicles and freight securing methods
• Perform loading/unloading assistance when needed
• Maintain accurate logs and records for legal compliance
• Drive safely in all conditions, adhering to hours of service limitations
• Participate in safety and performance evaluations
