Responsibilities
- Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to 24’ box trucks or tractor-trailers in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations.
- Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
- Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
- Active Hazmat endorsement.
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a reliable form of transportation.
- Willingness to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening and pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).
- Required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
- Willingness to work flexible hours within the scheduled work week (Tuesday through Saturday).
- Ability to work overtime on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- The Driver position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste.
- This role is considered safety-sensitive.

New Jersey Pay: $29 USD - $33 USD
