Class A Laborer Operator

About the role
The Commercial Truck Driver will transport material, equipment, and job-related items, including performing general construction labor functions as directed by the Construction Foreman. You will ensure accuracy in tasks and follow all safety, quality, and production policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Travel and work overtime as needed
- Perform physical manual labor duties within the workday
- Ensure safety equipment is used properly and work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Operate and maintain trucks and other equipment
- Comply with proper loading and unloading methods for materials and equipment
- Follow company guidelines for conduct with customers, coworkers, and the public
- Maintain appropriate documentation, including driver daily logs, trip reports, and fuel reports
Requirements
- Must be 21 years old with a valid commercial driver license (CDL) and a clean driving record
- Construction experience required
- Self-motivated with the ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with coworkers
- Capable of exerting heavy physical effort, lifting heavy objects, kneeling, crouching, balancing, climbing, or crawling
- Must pass a background check, company drug testing, and Federal Motor Carrier drug and alcohol testing regulations
Pay
$25–$30/hr, depending on experience
