About the role
Mccollister's Transportation is seeking a Class A Driver Backup Driver for their transportation and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of driving experience with a clean record, general warehouse responsibilities (including loading/unloading trucks, receiving/shipping, reading and documenting orders and deliveries), and forklift experience. Flexibility with shift work, including weekends, is essential.
Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles safely and efficiently
- Perform general warehouse tasks such as loading/unloading trucks, receiving/shipping, reading and documenting orders and deliveries
- Operate forklifts as needed
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends
Requirements
- At least two (2) years of driving experience
- Clean driving record
- General warehouse responsibilities (loading/unloading, receiving/shipping, order documentation)
- Forklift experience
- Flexible with shift work, including weekends
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
