About the role
A Class A Landoll/Lowboy Driver is a CDL Class A truck driver specializing in transporting heavy equipment, vehicles, and oversized loads using Landoll trailers or lowboy trailers.Responsibilities
- Load and secure construction equipment, forklifts, tractors, and other heavy machinery.
- Operate Landoll and lowboy trailers safely.
- Perform vehicle and trailer inspections.
- Ensure compliance with DOT and state regulations.
- Plan routes for oversized or overweight loads.
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain logs.
- Provide towing and recovery services when required.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- Clean driving record.
- Experience with heavy-haul, towing, or equipment transport.
- Knowledge of load securement procedures.
- Ability to operate chains, binders, winches, and ramps.
- Medical card and ability to pass drug screening.
