Class A Driver / Equipment Operator
The Opportunity
You will serve as a vital backbone for our field operations, managing the specialized transport and expert operation of heavy machinery across California. This role offers the unique chance to be a multi-functional leader in the renewable energy sector, ensuring our solar projects have the equipment and logistical support needed to stay on schedule.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record and DOT compliance.
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as telehandlers, forklifts, or excavators.
- Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical repair and troubleshooting for diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
- Absolute willingness to travel for projects, working a 4 x 10 schedule with overnight stays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Experience specifically within the solar or renewable energy construction industry.
- Valid NCCCO crane certification or advanced rigging qualifications.
- Specific experience performing field maintenance on CAT brand heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with California DOT regulations and oversized load permitting.
