Class A CDL Route Driver

Operate a grease collection truck to collect cooking oil, service, or raw materials while providing quality service to customers. Return to the Cleveland facility after routes.

Schedule

• Sunday night through Thursday night
• Start time: 8:00 PM
• Hours per day: 10–12

Responsibilities

• Pump or load grease containers; ensure cleanliness of container and surrounding area; return container with screen and lock secured; note any damages to container or corral area; properly complete route ticket with customer signature
• Responsible for established route as assigned
• Maintain company vehicle in clean condition and conduct all safety checks and inspections
• Operate vehicle under state, federal, and local regulations and in accordance with company policy and procedures; observe all company safety rules
• Attend all safety meetings; may serve on Safety Committee
• Maintain excellent customer relations by presenting a professional appearance and attitude
• Complete all company-required paperwork (route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, accident reports, mileage reports, service forms, etc.)
• Maintain and update vehicle condition report daily
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 21 years old with a clean MVR
• Current CDL A license with proper tanker endorsements
• Registered on FMCSA Clearinghouse

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior route experience within a customer-oriented environment
• Works well in a team environment
• Dependable and reliable; ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed
• Good math and communication skills
• Knowledge of safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle and general maintenance
