Class A CDL Driver

About the role

White Cap is hiring immediately for a CDL A Driver to coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites across the nation’s largest construction projects, including stadiums, roads, bridges, highways, and residential housing. The role involves operating a tractor‑trailer or straight truck with a GVW over 26,000 lb, and may include using a truck‑mounted forklift to unload shipments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites using a tractor‑trailer or straight truck (GVW > 26,000 lb).
• May operate a truck‑mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer sites.
• Follow DOT regulations and adhere to strict vehicle‑maintenance schedules with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Ensure manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Class A CDL license with a minimum of one year of commercial driving experience.
• Compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) certification.
• Two years of commercial driving experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, daytime shifts only; no nights, weekends, or required overtime. Paid holidays are included.
