Class A CDL Driver

About the role

Superior Environmental Solutions (SES) is seeking a safety-focused CDL Driver / Account Manager to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Organize the pick-up and delivery schedule of all clients.
• Interact with clients in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure safety is the top priority by adhering to all company and customer safety policies.
• Drive and operate various types of trucks (Roll-Off Trucks, Flat Bed Trucks, Service Trucks) safely and professionally.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections on vehicles.
• Document all necessary paperwork in a clear and legible manner.
• Communicate effectively with on-site customer representatives.
• Lead and direct subordinate personnel to perform tasks safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs when necessary.
• Maintain equipment and company property in good condition.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 21 years old.
• A valid Class “A” CDL license with a Tanker Endorsement (N) or Combination of Tanker and Hazardous (X) endorsement, air brakes, and a current DOT medical certificate.
• No CDL restrictions such as No Air Breaks (L), Intrastate Only (K), No Full Air Breaks (Z), No Manual Transmission (E), or Medical Variance (V).
• Experience driving a manual 10-speed transmission or higher is preferred.
• Maintain insurability under the company’s insurance plan.
• Comprehend and understand the English language to comply with safety instructions and emergency situations.
• Pass a pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and/or post-accident/injury substance abuse screening and background check.

Essential Physical Functions

• Distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty.
• Work in extreme conditions such as heat, cold, dust, and wet conditions for extended periods.
• Wear protective clothing such as safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, coveralls, and hearing protection.
