Class A CDL Driver

As a CDL Driver with Mauser Packaging Solutions Private Fleet, you are the final link in our customer service chain. Mauser Packaging Solutions is a global leader in solutions and services across the packaging lifecycle, providing packaging worldwide to companies in industries from food, personal care, paints, and chemicals.

About the role

Here is what you can expect on a typical day as a CDL Driver on our team:

• Safety is a top priority at Mauser. We ensure you are safe in our facilities, in our trucks, and everywhere in between.
• Take pride in safe, timely, and accurate delivery to every customer—our customers and we routinely track this information.
• Most of the day you will be in your vehicle, driving, scheduling, routing, and managing your daily activities, acting as your own boss.
• Supportive team environment where everyone plays a vital role in reaching our goals and delivering an excellent product.
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate personal needs, such as adjusting your schedule for family events or caregiving responsibilities.

Pay

• Potential earnings of $2,000 for an accident/violation-free year.
• Sign-on bonus of up to $3,500.
• Referral bonuses for referring employees who are hired.
• Competitive pay and overtime past 40 hours.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday (Regional/Local Routes).
• Home daily.
• Driver-friendly schedule with quarterly safety bonus.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• At least 23 years old.
• Minimum 1-year on-the-road experience.
• Willingness to move freight up to 55 pounds.
• Valid Medical card with at least 90 days until expiration.
• No more than 1 DOT recordable accident in the last 3 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No DUIs in the last 5 years.
• Hazardous Materials Endorsement on CDL is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
• Must be able to comply with all established rules and policies (safety, production, etc.).
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work any shift and work time as needed.
• Must be able to maintain an acceptable attendance record.
