Class A CDL Driver

About the role

The role involves driving Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods efficiently and safely. The position requires adherence to strict safety protocols and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to transport goods within designated routes.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed during transportation.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding commercial vehicle operation.
• Load and unload cargo from vehicles in a safe manner.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Good physical condition with ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Passing score on a pre-employment drug test.
• Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Knowledge of GPS tracking systems and route optimization tools.

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

$18.50 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
