Class A CDL Driver

About the role

Base pay starts at $28.00 per hour with an $8,000.00 bonus. Full-time, Monday through Friday with weekends home. Work location: 22651 Industrial Blvd, Rogers, MN 55374.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver building materials to customers, distribution centers, and construction job sites using a tractor-trailer in a route truck/multi-drop fashion per Federal regulations
• Apply commercial driving skills to maneuver vehicle at varying speeds in heavy traffic, inclement weather, and tight loading dock areas
• Maintain compliance records including driver logs, fuel purchases, mileage records, and other legally required documentation
• Perform all duties per company policies and comply with Federal, State, and local regulations for safe CMV operation
• Answer questions regarding packing lists, invoices, packaging, and material content; direct customers to appropriate contacts when needed
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment
• Immediately report necessary repairs and maintenance
• Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 2 years commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience acceptable)
• 1 year of flatbed experience
• Clean driving record
• Willingness to strap flatbed loads
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist
• Multi-drop delivery experience a plus
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Ability to plan and manage time efficiently
• Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday with weekends home. Full-time defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.
