Class A CDL Driver - 2nd shift

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Feed Delivery Driver to join our CDL team at our North Mill in Fort Recovery.

Pay

• $3,000 sign‑on bonus (paid as $500 each month for the first six months; internal candidates must commit to at least 1 year in this position to be eligible)
• Starting hourly rate: $25.80, with potential increase to $26.30 after 90 days
• Additional pay: monthly and year‑end profit‑sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

Schedule

Shift hours: Monday through Friday, 3:30 pm – 2:00 am

Responsibilities

• Deliver all feed as scheduled
• Properly disinfect trucks and use proper biosecurity attire
• Complete a daily inspection of tractor/trailer and maintain cleanliness per DOT Commercial Driving Inspections
• Complete driver logs and inspection/maintenance reports

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• Hold a Class A CDL
• Have at least 2 years’ driving experience
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Ability to tolerate adverse weather and dusty conditions
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods and climb feed bin ladders
