Requirements

• 18 months of proven Class A truck driving experience within the last 36 months
• No accidents, major moving, or driving violations within the last year
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software
• Ability to sit, stand, enter, and exit the truck and trailer continuously over long periods of time
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues; perform pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip inspections
• Ensure that delivery schedules are met as scheduled
• Retain all necessary documents for each trip
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods)
• Ensure compliance with Tucker Door and Trim safety and company policies
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Immediately report defects, accidents, or violations
