Clamp Truck (Lift Truck) Operator - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Moves rolls and organizes work-in-process area.
• Maintains a clean work area by sweeping and removing trash.
• Manages roll room inventory and roll room presentation.
• Reconciles end of shift consumption daily.
• Completes stock take/cycle count daily.
• Manages butt rolls.
• Completes all tasks associated with Preventative maintenance program.
• Corrects delivery of all roll stock.
• Removes waste at end of shift or as needed from docks and corrugator.
• Provides backup to the Roll Handler as required.
• Maintains enough paper on the floor to prevent corrugator from going down.
• Adds to or adjusts to scheduling changes as customer needs require.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience operating a lift truck is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, factory orders, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
• Ability to interpret written and oral instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure (English and Metric systems).
• Ability to read an English and Metric system tape measure.
