Clamp Truck Driver

Description

Clamp Truck Operators play a critical role in our production process. They are responsible for unloading paper rolls from trucks and railcars, stacking roll stock, maintaining an organized workspace, and loading rolls into industrial machines. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. The job is fast paced, requires attention to detail, and a relentless focus on safety.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating a power industrial machine (PIT) – prior experience at a paper mill or corrugated facility strongly preferred
• Knowledge of scanning systems
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic English
• Able to read materials to understand and apply content, such as instruction manuals and procedure manuals
• Understanding of how to read shipping tags and shipping manifests
• Basic math skills
• Wear safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection and other safety gear as required (We will provide any necessary)
• Sit/drive continuously with occasional walking, kneeling, crouching, squatting, bending, climbing, and grasping
• Lift up to 60 lbs
• Work in an uncontrolled temperature environment (hot or cold)
• Experience with inventory software preferred
