Clamp Forklift Driver

Description

Smurfit Westrock (NYSE:SW) is a leader in sustainable packaging solutions. This role involves unloading paper rolls from trucks and railcars, stacking roll stock, and loading rolls into industrial machines. The position is fast-paced and requires attention to detail, with a focus on safety.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating a forklift (clamp forklift & sit down forklift)
• Experience at a paper mill or corrugated facility preferred
• Knowledge of scanning systems
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic English
• Basic math skills
• Ability to wear safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, and other safety gear
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Ability to work in an uncontrolled temperature environment
• Willingness to work any available shift
• Experience with inventory software preferred

Pay

• $25.70 /hr; 90-day probationary period
• Shift Differential for 3rd shift: $0.50/hr

Schedule

• 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 1 pm - 9 pm
