About You
You are a person who loves to gather, analyze, format, translate, and write complex information into user-friendly documentation. In this role, you will act as a communication bridge between subject-matter experts (Operational Staff, Developers, Data Engineers) and front-end users. We’re looking for someone who:

Responsibilities
- Research and Analysis: Collaborate with operational users, technical staff, and clients to gather accurate technical information for documentation. Review details from various sources to determine what needs to be included.
- Writing, Editing, Formatting: Organize gathered information logically using diagrams, charts, and other visual aids for diverse audiences. Create, write, format, and maintain all IT governance documentation, including policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Test & Redesign: Review content for consistency, accuracy, and grammar. Conduct tests with subjects to ensure understanding. Maintain yearly reviews and updates on all IT governance documentation.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complicated ideas simply.
- Utilize public speaking, formal presentation, and training skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of technical writing and training experience in a fast-paced IT organization.
- Experience working directly with technical and operational team members.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Products, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn new processes, software, hardware, and technical concepts quickly.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to digest large amounts of data and extract relevant information.
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines.
- Capacity to assess the technical proficiency of readers and adapt tone, vocabulary, and structure accordingly.
- Knowledge of the 7 C's of Technical Writing.
- Proficiency with documentation software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, English, or an IT-related discipline.
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and Trizetto Products.
- Experience in the medical insurance field.
