Claims Training Specialist

About the Opportunity:The Claims Training Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering training programs to ensure compliance with best practice guidelines and improve claims outcomes within a designated geographical area. This role supports the operations workforce in meeting current and future objectives by providing effective training and quality services that align with client expectations. 3. Responsibilities:• Collaborate with management to identify training needs and schedule sessions• Review audit results and coordinate targeted retraining initiatives• Develop orientation and on-the-job training curricula• Create training programs for new initiatives and jurisdictional changes• Develop training materials and documentation with each department• Maintain a "train the trainer" program across departments• Conduct surveys to evaluate training effectiveness and implement changes• Prepare onboarding training for new employees• Assess trainees’ progress and adjust programs as needed• Keep accurate records of training progress and achievements• Build an eLearning library for common training modules• Ensure PHI, PII, and HIPAA training is current in collaboration with the Privacy Team• Integrate training materials into operations software for easy access• Provide progress reports on new hires’ productivity for the first 90 days• Perform additional duties as assigned 4. Requirements:• Extensive knowledge of claims management• Familiarity with various teaching methods and training approaches• Ability to identify and close skill gaps• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Effective coaching and presentation abilities• Rapid learning capability to understand claims practices• Problem identification, analysis, and resolution skills• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel• Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills• Ability to work independently and in team settings• Preferred: Four-year degree in education, training, or equivalent experience• Preferred: Experience as a trainer in classroom and remote environments• Preferred: Experience managing and administering a Learning Management System• Preferred: Experience creating training materials and documentation 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Pay Range: $77,960 – $120,368• Compensation is market-based and may vary by location, skills, experience, and qualifications• Level placement may affect salary range and is determined during the interview process 6.
