Claims Support Specialist II

Primary role in a fast-paced, high-volume remote virtual contact center or office environment requiring 100% phone-based customer interaction. Includes performing routine support duties and handling both inbound and outbound calls.

Responsibilities

• Direct contact with customers via inbound and outbound phone support.
• Work claims activities to support the business, customers, and the company.
• Other assigned functions.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Minimum of 1-year general office or related company experience, or equivalent combination of education, service, and/or contact center experience.

Skills

• Ability to manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner while maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor.
• Active listening, confirming or clarifying information, and addressing customer concerns.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication, typing, computer skills, and proper grammar.
• General knowledge of department procedures and operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay

• State-specific pay scales:
  • $30,390 to $48,544 (NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)
  • $27,627 to $44,131 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)
  • $24,864 to $39,718 (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)
• In CA: Typical hiring range is $35,520.30 to $43,413.70.
