Claims Support Specialist

We encourage those who join us to be active participants in building our future. As a claims support specialist on our team, you’ll help ensure our claims process runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll partner with and provide administrative support to claims examiners and leaders. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities. The position reports to the Claims Support Manager.

Responsibilities

• Input claims (Casualty, Professional, and Healthcare) from a shared inbox
• Send acknowledgement of receipt for each claim that is set up
• File correspondences and keep the claim file up to date
• Process claim payments
• Set up and verify vendors
• Prepare files for counsel

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Superior analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
