About the role
The cyber claims team at At-Bay is dedicated to helping businesses manage and mitigate cyber risk. We work closely with our security, cyber research, product, and underwriting teams to provide comprehensive solutions and support.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal team and external vendors to resolve cyber incidents
- Evaluate coverage for claims and draft coverage letters
- Build strong relationships across the company and serve as a trusted advisor for underwriting and risk function
- Foster feedback loops with underwriting and security teams to improve our products and automated Underwriting Engine
- Cultivate relationships with brokers and insureds to deliver excellent service
- Evaluate and manage exposure for cyber incidents
- Report on significant claims to management
- Proactively set reserves
- Focus on continuous improvement for claims, Underwriting, and security feedback loops
Requirements
- 3-5 years of insurance claims-handling experience, with at least 30% of the claims handled being in cyber insurance, including ransomware, business email compromise, business interruption, and financial fraud
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Dedication to delivering exceptional service to our customers
Qualifications
- Licensed claims adjuster (licenses in multiple states preferred)
- College degree or equivalent experience/education
- Insurance practice experience as a paralegal may be considered

Pay
Our estimated base pay range for this role is $80,000-95,000 per year. Base salary is determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to market data, location, internal equity, domain knowledge, experiences, and skills.
