Claims Specialist 2

About the role

The Claims Specialist 2 position at RTAP is responsible for processing claims related to transit incidents and accidents. This includes reviewing documentation, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with insurance policies.

Responsibilities

• Review and process claims related to transit incidents and accidents
• Communicate with stakeholders including policyholders, insurance companies, and legal counsel
• Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with insurance policies and procedures
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation for claims
• Follow up on claims to ensure timely resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in claims processing or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of insurance claims handling procedures

Qualifications

• Experience with claims management software
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
