Claims Service Representative (Attorney Support; Onsite)

About the role

This is an entry-level role that supports our Staff Attorneys within the Claims Department on a variety of important administrative tasks and assignments. The Claims Support role helps keep our claims processes efficient, organized, and moving. This position is performed completely onsite at the New Hartford, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Process and mail any necessary documents, checks, and letters to be sent to relevant parties, as requested by the Claims staff.
• Request and obtain relevant documentation for a claim as requested by the Claims staff and ensure timely follow-up.
• Liaise with other departments to acquire information and relay to relevant parties.
• Perform work within vendor web portals and submit tickets as needed to address any systems issues.
• Read, interpret, and summarize data reports for Claims Staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Conform with all corporate policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2 years working in a Claims environment preferred, but not required.

Pay

Salary range: $34,000 - $40,900. The final salary will consider the individual’s work experience, geographic location, education, certifications, and scope of responsibilities within the role.
