The Opportunity As a Claims Processor, you’ll play a critical role in enforcing the fundamental fairness on which our company was founded. You’ll be supporting one of the largest teams within the company by allowing them to be highly efficient in their roles. Our goal is to leverage technology, data, and a team of highly talented people to build a claims experience that is recognized as #1 in the industry. Root is a “work where it works best” company. Salary: $40,000 How You Will Make An Impact Dispatch various claim assignments, including estimates, supplements, diminished value, fixed property, and specialty claimsRoute claims to third-party vendors for in-person inspection(s)Support the APD team with various projects and dutiesSupport Subrogation efforts, managing eSub, and creating FNOLsAssist in setting up various parties in rentalsCommunicate with adjusters for updates on the queues of task request(s) to drive claims to resolutionAssist in sending documents, managing vendor queues, and making contact with claim participants, providing claim information Complete all other tasks as assigned by the supervisor/manager What You Will Need To Succeed 1+ years of experience in an office environmentHigh school diploma/GED requiredAttention to detail and accuracyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Outlook)Strong written and verbal communication skillsCommunicates and collaborates effectively in a matrixed environmentAbility to handle ambiguity and quickly adapt when changes occurAble and willing to follow company policies and proceduresAbility to approach problems with an open mindFlexibility and comfortable handling multiple tasks at once What You Will Need To Succeed As part of Root's interview process, we kindly ask that all candidates be on camera for virtual interviews.
