Claims Finance Consultant Team Lead
About the role
The Claims Finance Consultant is responsible for the creation of key financial presentations and models to support strategic and operational initiatives. They will develop key relationships with senior leadership and become a trusted partner.
Responsibilities
- Communicate complex financial information and insights to business partners across multiple functions.
- Prepare key messages, reports and financial analyses to deliver insights to management teams.
- Support the planning and forecasting process and collaborate with business unit leadership to explain changes and impacts.
- Provide advanced financial analysis and modeling.
- Monitor/review business progress relative to business/operational plans.
- Evaluate key projects/initiatives to determine if key deliverables are being met.
- Propose potential new initiatives or areas for improvement.
- Draw connections and insights across multiple projects / parts of the organization to ensure continuity of organization-wide initiatives.
- Identify gaps in analysis and additional analyses that should be conducted.
- Apply industry knowledge to own work and bring knowledge to bear with other analysts.
- Develop written communications that convey analyses and insights in a cohesive story.
- Define data requirements and identify appropriate sources.
- Build rapport with stakeholders/senior executives and tell a compelling story of results.
- Participate in training and development of new hires.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
- OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
- OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
- Preferred: Insurance industry experience, Actuarial experience, Financial analysis/modeling experience, Experience with SQL or related, Data visualization experience in Power BI or related, Project management experience, Strong Microsoft Office experience, Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay
Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. If your expectations are above the listed range, we still encourage you to apply—your unique background matters to us. The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed Salary range for this position is $95,900.00 - $157,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
