Duties
- Maintain claims turnaround times, quality control and production standards.
- Monitor the daily workflow of the department.
- Assist with mail operations, pre-edit/scanning processes.
- Track staff performance audits.
- Complete staff training.
- Process Medicaid claims.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for Claims and Customer Service inquiries and problem resolution.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to type 30 WPM.
- Problem resolution skills to answer internal and external inquiries, and questions or problems raised by department personnel or external customers.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Excellent Human Relations skills to interact with staff, other departments, and external customers.
- Self-start with high organizational skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrated leadership experience/skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Experience with operation and application of personal computer, as well as Word and Excel.
Additional Qualifications for Consideration
- College degree.
- Dental terminology and experience.
- Dental office experience.
- Team lead or management experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

- Working knowledge of PC's, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
