Claims Associate

Responsibilities

• Monitor dedicated mailboxes and phone lines, triaging and distributing correspondence.
• Enter and maintain claim information in the claims system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and issue routine claim correspondence, supporting report and loss run production.
• Manage incoming documentation from carriers, ensuring timely follow-up.
• Handle administrative tasks such as document redaction, quality review, indexing, DocuSign workflow creation, and secure distribution.
• Contribute to audits, special projects, and regulatory or client-driven initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 1-3 years of experience in claims administration/support or insurance operations.
• Strong working knowledge of insurance claim workflows and terminology.
• Demonstrated experience working with claim management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Advanced organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
