About the role
Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire a Claims Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day claims operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys administrative work, data entry, and assisting with claim-related processes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the claims department with administrative and clerical tasks.
- Enter and maintain claim information within internal systems.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Aid with claim updates, adjustments, and follow-up activities.
- Respond to internal requests and help resolve claim-related inquiries.
- Maintain electronic and paper records in an organized manner.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and other documentation as needed.
- Ensure confidential information is handled in accordance with company policies and HIPAA requirements.
- Assist with special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative, clerical, customer service, or claims support experience preferred.
- Strong data entry and computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
