Responsibilities
- Investigate complex and high-risk claims, including those represented by attorneys or with additional litigation features.
- Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants, and others involved in the accident.
- Use gathered information to determine coverage, liability, and the total value of the claim.
- Report to an office about four days per month for important meetings, training, and collaboration.
- Work in an in-office environment if preferred, working more than four days per month.
Requirements
- Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling OR
- Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR
- Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree.

- Quickly build rapport and successfully effect settlements
- Strong negotiation and customer service skills
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and prioritize
- Demonstrated proficiency analyzing coverage and liability
- Proficiency in using discovery tools such as interrogatories, depositions, and production of documents
- Experience handling Auto Litigation claims

Pay
Compensation varies by location and level of experience:
- Spokane Valley, WA: $33.00 - $43.00/hour
- Federal Way and Everett, WA: $36.00 - $47.00/hour
Schedule
This is a hybrid role. You’ll be expected to report to an office about four days per month for important meetings, training, and collaboration.
