Claim Specialist - WCCS Deployed

Responsibilities

• Grow your skills and potential within State Farm, a leader in technology-driven claim services.
• Support and protect policyholders with enhanced skillsets developed through technology.
• Be the first point of contact for insureds, explaining coverage, estimating damages, and guiding them through the claims process.
• Work with Weather and Catastrophe Claims Services (WCCS) to handle homeowners, commercial, and large loss claims from natural disasters and weather-related events.
• Handle Fire claims with assignments to Fire Proximity territories and/or In-Office operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and decision-making skills.
• Physical agility to walk, bend, reach, kneel, squat, stoop, lift, carry, unfold, and climb ladders.
• Ability to utilize appropriate equipment safely during inspections of residential and commercial structures.
• Ability to crawl in tight spaces to gather information during claim adjustments.
• Completion of Rope and Harness Safety Training (RAST).
• Competitive candidates should demonstrate relevant claims adjusting experience and/or construction background.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

• Competitive starting salary range: $59,559.65 - $82,000 annually.
