Responsibilities
- Grow your skills and potential within State Farm, a leader in technology-driven claim services.
- Support and protect policyholders with enhanced skillsets developed through technology.
- Be the first point of contact for insureds, explaining coverage, estimating damages, and guiding them through the claims process.
- Work with Weather and Catastrophe Claims Services (WCCS) to handle homeowners, commercial, and large loss claims from natural disasters and weather-related events.
- Handle Fire claims with assignments to Fire Proximity territories and/or In-Office operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and decision-making skills.
- Physical agility to walk, bend, reach, kneel, squat, stoop, lift, carry, unfold, and climb ladders.
- Ability to utilize appropriate equipment safely during inspections of residential and commercial structures.
- Ability to crawl in tight spaces to gather information during claim adjustments.
- Completion of Rope and Harness Safety Training (RAST).
- Competitive candidates should demonstrate relevant claims adjusting experience and/or construction background.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
