Field Claim InvestigatorAbout the RoleRC Services is seeking experienced and motivated Field Claims Investigators to support insurance claim investigations throughout New Jersey. This is a great opportunity for individuals who thrive in fieldwork, enjoy investigative analysis, and can manage assignments independently. Private Investigations experience preferred. In this role, you will conduct on-site investigations, gather evidence, interview involved parties, and produce professional reports to support claim evaluation and resolution. Key ResponsibilitiesField InvestigationConduct thorough, multi-faceted insurance claim investigations in the fieldPerform site inspections including photographs, video documentation, measurements, and scene diagramsLocate and interview claimants, witnesses, and other involved partiesObtain signed or recorded statements as neededEvidence Gathering & AnalysisCollect and document relevant evidence to support claim determinationsEvaluate findings and provide clear, objective summaries and recommendationsMaintain sound judgment throughout investigationsReporting & DocumentationPrepare and submit detailed, client-ready investigative reportsProvide timely status updates on all assigned casesEnsure all assignments are completed in accordance with company standards and timelines QualificationsRequiredReliable transportation and willingness to travel locallyAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed PreferredMinimum of 2+ years of investigative experience (insurance, legal, or related field)Prior insurance claims investigation or adjusting experienceKnowledge of construction and prior construction claims adjusting or general construction experienceBasic understanding of NY Labor Laws 240(1) and 241(6)NYC Scaffolding Certification and SST cardValid NY Independent Adjuster LicenseStrong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of organization and time managementProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic technology systemsActive Adjuster LicenseBilingual (Spanish)Notary Public designation Work StructureFlexible schedulingField-based position (work performed on-site/in territory) What Sets You ApartSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyDetail-oriented with strong documentation skillsProfessional, objective, and client-focusedComfortable handling sensitive situations and field interactions Why Join RC Services?RC Services offers the opportunity to work on diverse and engaging assignments while maintaining the flexibility of contract work.
