Cladding Sales/Estimator

Position Summary

AES is seeking a Senior Salesperson / Estimator to join our growing Team in Nashville, TN and Charlotte, NC. This role offers a challenging and supportive environment where you can grow professionally and contribute to our team.

About the role

The Senior Sales Estimator is primarily responsible for building relationships with General Contractors and Architects, preparing detailed job estimates, and presenting proposals. They must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of construction techniques and materials.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively as part of a team and develop strong customer relationships.
• Maintain knowledge of architectural cladding designs and planning principles.
• Develop and present building estimates for cladding, façade, and building envelope rain screen systems.
• Work with contract documents to prepare a complete list of all job costs, including labor, material, equipment, and complimentary items.
• Provide technical guidance and/or supervision to architects, structural engineers, and independent building contractors.
• Assess contract compliance and product/service quality.
• Perform site inspections and/or approve installations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior knowledge of construction techniques, sequencing, and scheduling.
• Ability to work well under pressure and use computers and Microsoft Office products.
• Moderate physical activity required, handling up to 25 pounds and standing/walking for more than four hours per day.
