Responsibilities
- Conducting vehicle and foot patrols to maintain visibility and deter crime.
- Responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service.
- Enforcing federal and state laws, as well as military regulations and installation-specific orders.
- Performing traffic control duties and investigating traffic accidents.
- Controlling access to the installation at various entry points.
- Engaging in community-policing activities to build trust and cooperation.
- Congducting preliminary investigations and securing crime scenes.
- Preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
- Be a United States Citizen.
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
- Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
- Be able to pass a comprehensive medical examination and drug screening.
- Successfully pass a thorough background investigation to be granted a Secret security clearance.
- Demonstrate the energy and eagerness to serve and excel in a demanding law enforcement environment.
